Update on Meeting with Canara Bank Management – 18.08.2026 A delegation of KAGBEU & KAGBOA met Sri Pradeep K.S., General Manager (Associates, Subsidiaries & RRB Vertical), Canara Bank, today (18.08.2026) at the Head Office Annex, Bengaluru. Two Deputy General Managers (DGMs) and the Chief Manager (CM) were also present during the meeting. 📄 Submission of Memorandum A comprehensive memorandum was submitted highlighting the following key issues concerning our members: * Disciplinary action against and recall of the deputed executive, Sri Sathya Prasad N. (GM). * Regularization of Casual Workers & Daily Wagers/Outsourcing Workers. * Adequate recruitment and timely promotions as per Mitra Committee. * Parity in benefits and allowances in line with the 12th Bipartite Settlement / 9th Joint Note, including LFC/LTC and CSA Special Pay arrears. * Absorption of perquisite tax on staff loans for FY 2026-27. * Immediate disbursement of Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) for FY 2025–26. * Resolution of persistent network failures and shortage of computer systems. * Other Issues ⏱️ Meeting Highlights The meeting lasted for nearly two hours. The Canara Bank management patiently heard our concerns and assured us that the issues would be addressed at the earliest.
